About UsFounder Alanna (Byars) Napier was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Alanna's first job was as a disc jockey for WMRB in Columbia, TN. From there, Alanna worked for WKRM/WKOM in Columbia, WBOZ- Murfreesboro, and WGNS-Murfreesboro. From her first position on-air at the age of 16, Alanna knew that she wanted to be a part of the media world.
After attending Middle Tennessee State University for three years, Alanna transfered to Auburn University in Alabama where she graduated magna cum laude with a Mass Communications major and dual minor in Psychology and Spanish. Alanna was offered her first television station sales position before graduation at WBMY-TV, a new WB Network start up in 1999. Launching the cable-based broadcast station in December 1999, Alanna learned the television sales world very fast! Within 4 months of employment, she was offered a sales position with the powerhouse sister-station of WBMY, WSFA-TV 12 in Montgomery. A self-starter from the very beginning, Alanna achieved great success at both WSFA and WBMY and quickly rose to the top tier of account executives within the station group.
After 5 successful years in Montgomery, Alanna desired to come back home to Middle Tennessee. Returning home in 2004 was a new beginning for Alanna and she started with n house advertising & marketing co., llc as an account executive and took charge of Public Relations soon thereafter.
Once charged with handling a very intensive, hands-on, active PR client, Alanna once again rose to the challenge and currently has a 90% success record in story placement in the Nashville market. Within the past 4 years, Alanna has discovered a need in the Nashville market for a Public Relations firm targeted to the small-to- medium sized business that didn't require monthly retainers or huge fees. Thus, NashvillePR.com was born and is an incentive-based firm with low overhead and low fees.
Alanna is very happily married to husband, Todd, and together, they have 4 children.
